Catheter & Complex Bowel Care at Home

Dignified, nurse-led continence care: catheter changes by Registered Nurses and daily routines by trained support workers who know you.

Catheter and bowel care are deeply personal and carry real clinical risks, from urinary tract infections to autonomic dysreflexia. Good Nurse is registered with the NDIS for high intensity daily personal activities, including urinary catheter management and complex bowel care. Our nurses do the clinical tasks and train your workers on your own routine.

How it works

  1. An RN assesses your needs and writes your catheter and bowel care plan with you and your GP.
  2. Your support workers are trained on your routine and equipment, and signed off before working alone.
  3. RNs handle catheter changes and review the plan whenever things change.
  4. Workers know the warning signs, including UTIs and autonomic dysreflexia, and when to call.

Funding
